Dreams Come True
Dec 20 2025 Dreams Come True
Our dreams lie shattered in the dust. Only when we get older do we understand that the dreams we created for ourselves are illusions. That's why seeking God's will for our life should be our only dream, our one desire. By placing our will in God's care and asking him to direct out lives, our thoughts will align with his design. We stray when we decide to go our own way. Having guidance in our life is essential. If we examine history, in our culture and in our records, the sons followed the path set out for them by the father. The very top of our society, the rich and powerful, stress bloodlines. They value and protect their bloodline. These bloodlines establish their legacy and their heritage. It's a pattern that those who achieve success copy and follow. But in God's system of success, based on his rewards, eternal riches and an eternal inheritance is all that has true value. Not money, nor fame, nor acclaim of men, nor lands, houses, or even pleasures account for any real value in eternity. God's bloodline is a spiritual bloodline. The record is written in the heavens. The list of those who achieved the most includes men who had no home, who were homeless, "The world didn’t deserve these good people. Some wandered around in deserts and mountains and lived in caves and holes in the ground." These men have no statues erected to them. No castles remain to testify of their kingdoms. We don't read about their greatness in history books. But God penned their names in his book of the Great and Famous, whose memories will never be forgotten for all time. These men and women similar to Abraham who dreamed of "a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God," have inherited eternal glory. So if you are able to make God's divine purpose and plan for your life your own dream, your dream will be fulfilled and never be taken away. Let God be your guide and close your ears to the voices who seek to lead you astray. Sadness and sorrow is the future of those who do their own will, but those who let God guide their lives find never-ending joy and peace.
