It all began years ago. How is it possible to explain that an all powerful being existed for infinite years before a single atom of our universe was created out of nothing but simply by the words spoken by our Creator? I have no explanation. I only have the satisfaction of knowing that the same spirit who created the vast, endless reaches of space and all the planets and all the stars and all that "space" is the same spirit who resides inside my own human spirit, as small as that is or as magnificient as that is. How large is a human spirit? Scripture describes the human spirit in these terms, "though God has planted eternity in the hearts of men, even so, many cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end." And so since our spirit is eternal and we have eternity placed inside us, our spirit as well seems boundless. Such is the appetite of the human soul that it craves more and seems never satisfied. The eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear with hearing. When I think of who my Father in Heaven truly is, then I am comforted even when worries, anxiety, cares and concerns weigh me down. I realize I am only a speck of dust in the entirety of the universe, but he knows every one of my thoughts, the number of hairs on my body, and the day of my departure from this realm. I cast all my cares on him today. As the world speeds toward disaster and inevitable Armageddon, I rely on him to bring me through the fire safely to the other side where forever with him I will abide.

He's not like humans, who say one thing and do another. He's not unreliable like people. He doesn't change his mind like we do. He remains eternally for all time committed to the completion and fulfillment of whatever comes forth from his mouth. Dec 17, 2025 The Hunter becomes the Hunted "who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, received promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched raging fire, escaped the edge of the sword, won strength out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight." The enemy is already defeated, but the battle rages on. The shield of faith is simply our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. Some of us will be martyred for the cause, some imprisoned, some various trials, and some will be preserved safe until the end. But it's evident that before our Lord's return the Beast will make war with the saints. Would it really be a war if the saints didn't return fire? Would it truly be a war if the saints refused to fight. No there will be battles and fights and conflict.
