Impossible even for God

Dec 15 2025 Impossible even for God

"so that through two unchangeable facts, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge might have strong incentive to hold fast to the hope set before us."

"For when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself"  So when God says "I will" he means it. He's not like humans, who say one thing and do another. He's not unreliable like people. He doesn't change his mind like we do. He remains eternally for all time committed to the completion and fulfillment of whatever comes forth from his mouth. Every single absolute physical thing, every atom, every particle, every molecule, any thing we can touch, taste, see, hear, feel, is going to fade away, dissolve, and disappear and never be again. So every 1957 Chevy ever made by man in a factory will cease to exist one day. But what God said 10,000 or 5,000, or just 2,000 years ago, or 5 minutes ago, will never ever pass away or be incomplete, not true, and fail to appear. Have I made myself clear?

Now I love 1957 Chevy's as much as the next guy, but when the fire passes over this world and this known (infinite to mankind's mind) universe, it will be eradicated. BUT....EXCEPT that I'll still be alive and if I want to recreate a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air in the backyard of my mansion in the new earth or new heaven, I'll be able to do it. And better! Guess what? Heaven is real and so is hell. Better decide today where you plan on being a trillion years from today. Okay?
