Christmas has Changed

Dec 22 2025 Christmas has changed

On Wednesday it's Christmas Eve. My late father was born the day before Christmas Eve. I was pondering the fact that I wouldn't be here if he hadn't been born. Being a part of the Heavenly Father's creation is a great privilege. I suppose I could write a book or at least a long story about all the Christmas memories I've been a part of. Christmas was for many years my favorite time of year. And it still is my favorite holiday. As an adult of mature years, Christmas doesn't hold the wonder and magic that it once did, but it still is one of those holidays where I get to spend time with family. What weighs on my heart today is how different the world is now as compared to my childhood. Until the year I graduated from high school and beyond, every Christmas was a white Christmas. I loved snow as a young boy. Sometimes it snowed so much we didn't even have to go to school. Of course my Dad wasn't so thrilled with it and neither am I now, since we have to drive in it. But having a white Christmas was a part of the mystique of the holiday and made it seem that much more special. One thing that has changed as the lying media always reminds us of now, is that the weather is changing. Of course the beast system tells people that they are the problem. We must pay for our sins of using energy. Although they have no intention of cutting back on their lifestyle. I know geoengineering is a fact of life today. Even the media can't deny that. But I also believe God lets this happen. This verse in Revelation says, "and to destroy the ones destroying the earth." They are destroying the earth. This Christmas will be the warmest I can remember. No snow this year. I'm not complaining and I don't mind. All I'm doing is pointing out the fact that the earth isn't the same as it was not so long ago. When Jesus said, "At that time two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left." Before Armageddon even arrives, half of mankind will be gone. The flood happened suddenly in a matter of hours. Everyone but Noah and his family drowned. It won't be that quick this time. This time it will happen in an unfolding of events that have never before been witnessed by mankind, but not all will perish. Santa was the big miracle worker that I always looked forward to seeing. The miracle of mortality being transformed into immortality is an even greater miracle and the best present anyone could ever receive. Be ready; for it will happen in the blink of an eye and Jesus will be back this time as King. I will reign forever with him and the earth will be restored to wholeness for a thousand years, until finally a new heaven and new earth which can never be destroyed will appear. That's the Christmas I look forward to. I hope I spend it with you!
