AUGUST 1 2026 In Control
The
Lord has given us control. He has given us dominion. Christ
is the Head over all things and we are his Body in the earth. We
are to take dominion over all the works of his hands. We are to
reign as kings in this life. The Kingdom of God is given to
us. It is a present reality for those who believe. We have
been given authority over demons and angels. Demons control men
through the reception of deception. Men receive in their hearts
the lies demons speak. It is written that the saints will judge
the angels. Angels are ministerial agents, sent forth to assist
those who are heirs of salvation. How are we to shut the mouth
of demons and so cripple their influence in the earth? How are
we to gain the assistance of angels? With our words; by the word
of God on our lips.
It was through the sound of
his voice that God made all created things. He conquered
nothingness, for when he spoke, all things came into being. Surely
all these things existed first in the mind of God, but they only came
into being as he commanded them to appear. Now all these things
exist outside the mind of God, as an extension of the power of his
