May 15 2026 Passage of Time
If you give up, you'll never get there. Heb 10:36
There has to be a better way to live. When will this life be over and done? What is there to live for here? Sometimes life seems to be a waste of time. But God put us here, it was his call, so what can we do about it? This is what we've got to do about it. We've got to be happy. We've got to be free. We've got to be who we were meant to be. We were created by God and he doesn't make any junk. We're not hairless, evolutionary dogs walking on two legs. Others might act like they are, but not us. You came out of the mind of God. Sure, your parents had something to do with it, but you were only one of the endless possibilities which could have arisen out of their union. Think about the patience of God. Since Adam and Eve, God's been waiting for you. He had a plan for you since time began. You were not an accident waiting to happen. From your first two parents, you've had a long line of ancestors who had to come into being so you could be here today. Think of the value of a life to God. Think of the wars, famines, diseases, and other trials your ancestors had to survive for you to be here today. Let your mind ponder for a moment the mighty acts of God. You couldn't be a mistake. The odds are too great against you being here, for you to be a chance happening. So what is your life on earth, but a vapor and then a returning home to the Creator?
God's been waiting on you. He's waiting on you to do something with your life. You won't go home or leave this place, until you do something about God's will. You thought you were waiting on God. You thought all these years you had something coming to you. The Lord and the world owed you something. All your life you've been waiting on him to do something for you, while all the time he's been waiting on you to do what he told you to do. Are you tired of waiting for what you want to happen, to happen? Are you tired of living your dream? How about living God's dream for you? --excerpt from my book Kingdom Chronicles.
