MAY 18 2026 Road to Hell
Don't blame God. The Father has provided solutions, answers, assistance, deliverance, help, and a way out of all sorrows, troubles, and afflictions. The help comes from him; for every good gift comes down from the Father of light and with him there is no evil or harm. But in our pride, we go our own way, disregard his commands, and then when something terrible happens we blame God, and when something wonderful happens we take the credit. Pride deceives. We refuse to admit our own faults, and we refuse to acknowledge God for all the good he does. Pride is another word for stupidity, folly, and foolishness. The road to hell is paved with pride. We are too proud to admit that God knows what he's talking about. We can save ourselves, we think. We can provide for ourselves, we think. We can live without God, we think. We think we know best how to run our lives. We're so smart, so selfish, so full of ourselves. We're headed for disaster, because pride leads to destruction.
When we trust in God, we believe in what we don't see and what we do see we don't trust. What is this life, but an infinitesimally short span of time, as compared to the endless ages of eternity? What we see in the world, what is presented to our senses, the sins, the lust, and such, is what the world believes is the only reality. They believe only the senses can satisfy and make them happy. They believe sin is the spice of life. They believe that if you can't touch, taste, see, hear, or feel something with your physical senses then it must not be real. The world has misplaced faith. Those who have faith in material things are deceived by their senses. They continually deceive themselves, and end up believing in a lie. The deceitfulness of sensual pleasure is such, that the more they indulge in the flesh, the less they are satisfied with the flesh. Like a dog chasing its' tail, they get trapped in a vicious cycle of sin, ever seeking but never finding. But this is all they know to do. There is no other reality for them. But once we find the true God, the God of love, our heart is filled with joy and the more of God we get, the more happy and satisfied we are. This ends our search for the truth. So what we see, we don't believe, and what we can't see, this we honestly believe in. -- excerpt from my book Kingdom Reality
