15 2026 Divine Wine
Try
the new wine. Will there be a party in your honor, Or will your eyes
widen in horror? Will you hear the pop of the new champagne, or will
your body be always racked with pain? Wine and love is no gentle
dove, if not blessed with peace from above. Won't you cast away cheap
wine and lust, for golden treasures that shall never rust? Won't you
come join the children of the Son, as after a billion years, the
party's only begun!
New wine is all about how God's got something better! Can you imagine anything more pleasurable than sensual passion? Can you imagine anything more wonderful than being filthy rich? If you can, you can bet God can too. That's the trick, though. You need to be able to imagine something better, and you have to believe God is able to provide something better. Imagine love so pleasurable the human body could never endure it. Imagine wealth so abundant no palace on earth could contain it. Imagine wine so intoxicating it floods every fiber of your being with indescribable delight. If you can imagine these things, then you might get a glimpse of what God's Kingdom will be like, and you might begin to imagine what God's love and riches are like. This world has nothing but sour grapes, compared to God's infinitely-better divine wine. God is getting ready to break out the new wine and he's saving the best for last.
The mountains will flow down with rivers of new wine, and the earth will bring forth riches such as has never been imagined by any potentate. Men and women will love each other with a love so pure, so deep that nothing will taint it or spoil it. The Kingdom of God will be peace, joy, and love in an abundance beyond what anyone has ever experienced. We will never hunger or thirst, or know what it is to not have everything we need or desire. There will be no lack of any good thing in the Kingdom of God. We will be like the child who dreams of a world filled with candy, and fun, and toys, and laughter. Only it will be real, and so will our happiness. Each day will be a glorious new adventure, as we discover and explore more of this wonderful world of dreams come true.
